Position Title: Senior Product Manager

 

Looking for a Senior Project Manager (SPM) with 5+ years of experience working in an operational/product management role. The ideal candidate should be a smart, creative, detail oriented and independent candidate with a passion for product production, client relations, staff motivation and innovative applications.

 

Position Summary: The SPM will be responsible for managing the production and ongoing operations of the Tour24 (t24) product which has just released its beta version and is moving into full launch mode. The role will be responsible for creating and managing the production process, launch, and implementation of the product. The SPM has broad-based responsibilities and takes direction from the Vice President, working with clients, internal operations, consultants and vendors. This position requires a knowledge of relevant operations/product production, project management protocols and application development environments.

 

The position requires a strong ability to manage large-scale product operations and apply methodologies/best practices that support the accomplishment of product production with the least overall effort through direction and project planning. The SPM maintains responsibility for dealing with a high degree of technical complexity to yield orderly product results in the areas of product design, development and launch on time and on budget. This position identifies and tracks all assigned resource task completion items according to the plan and schedules and provides regular status updates to clients and t24 Executive Team.

 

This position's technical responsibilities include the understanding of technical product complexities and terminologies as well as the testing, debugging and documenting of all product technical systems and/or application programs throughout the production and launch timeline. The SPM will also provide guidance to field technicians during installation and ongoing operation and maintenance activities.

 

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Maintain overall responsibility for the successful launch and ongoing functionality of the t24 product.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for initial client communication after the product sale including scheduling/leading kick-off calls and determining product development/launch timelines.
  • Supervise all t24 production staff members and allocate resources for t24 production process.
  • Manage the overall day-to-day development of each t24 product including developing deliverables, task execution, timelines, communication protocols and results tracking to staff.
  • Oversee the development of training programs, plans and documentation required to support all end users; monitor execution and program success.
  • Develop account relationship management strategy with outcomes linked to specific service-related measurement(s) of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor service delivery and customer satisfaction, identifying opportunities for improvement and addressing problems as they arise.
  • Review department's business processes on an ongoing basis, initiating changes and improvements as appropriate.
  • Report to management as required regarding business performance, customer relationships and future opportunities/requirements.

What We're Looking For:

Experience

  • BA/BS degree plus 5+ years working experience in operations/product production including 3+ years managing professional staff members.
  • Successful record of accomplishment managing a customer service product.
  • History of building and managing durable customer relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand business objectives and translate into a tactical plan.
  • Managed projects with a significant technological component.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills -- there is a large amount of writing, editing and presenting in this role.
  • Strong preference for someone with significant experience serving the multifamily industry.
