Package Concierge is the digital solution to package handling for multifamily and student housing around the country. The Brand Manager is responsible for conceptualizing, developing, managing, executing, and evaluating marketing and communications strategies and tactics to achieve company's branding and growth objectives. The position requires excellent project management skills, taking projects from concept to completion, and exceptional customer focus (both internal and external). The Brand Manager is expected to be the expert on what's new and now in the marketplace, to be well versed in marketing, communication, and digital techniques and best practices, and to translate that knowledge into actions that helps the organization maintain a leadership position in the industry.

Specific areas of responsibility include the following:

Marketing Planning & Implementation

  • Develop and manage all company brand identity elements.
  • Develop and implement marketing plan for current and new product lines, including initiatives that span all products, markets, and mediums.
  • Manage creative strategy and execution for all marketing vehicles and programs.
  • Coordinate new product launch marketing, promotional and communications activities
  • Coordinate and manage direct mail and e-mail campaigns; including list segmentation/management, content, creative, and monitoring results to determine effectiveness.
  • Manage contract/agency projects including budget and program elements for support such as website content and functionality, collateral development, promotional material, etc.
  • Evaluate ROI for each marketing program and make adjustments as appropriate.
  • Provide regular analysis and reporting on all marketing programs.
  • Coordinate with sales/others to implement marketing and sales plans.
  • Incorporate 80/20 business philosophy into annual marketing program development/planning processes.

Market Research 

  • Survey external audiences regarding effectiveness of past marketing efforts and future needs, evaluating results to determine future actions. 
  • Execute and analyze annual customer satisfaction survey, providing report to senior leadership.
  • Monitor, or coordinate monitoring, of consumer trends, markets/users, and competition to evaluate product positioning/success, marketing effectiveness, and future program needs.
  • Perform market research as needed.

Manage Marketing Programs

  • Administer association memberships and relationships, evaluating and executing participation in trade shows, advertising, and activities.
  • Deliver thought-leading content for all appropriate outlets.
  • Serve as primary contact for NAA, NMHC, and all other industry associations.
  • Develop lead generation and lead development programs.
  • Manage trade show marketing to achieve goals including trade shows, vendor conferences and sales events.
  • Develop and maintain promotional materials for end users and influencers.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and participate in online community outlets.
  • Support sales team and senior executives with presentation development, promotional items, research, etc., as needed.
  • Manage all brand assets including but not limited to, trademarks, photo/video library, history, and collateral.

Manage Marketing Budget

  • Develop annual marketing budget in collaboration with sales and senior management.
  • Provide monthly budget to actual analysis.
  • Determine priorities based upon market conditions and business objectives.
  • Manage expenditures and resources in accordance to budget plan, maintaining appropriate vendor tracking and accountability

Candidates should possess the following qualifications/skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related skills
  • 5+ years of experience with the responsibilities listed
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Proven relationship building skills
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to think strategically with willingness to implement tactics
  • Skillfully manage and negotiate with suppliers, agencies, vendors, and show management
  • Proficient in all Microsoft software applications, especially MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Thorough knowledge of web analytics, SEO, PPC, and social platforms
  • Working knowledge of marketing automation, ratings and reviews, SurveyMonkey, and MailChimp
